The Conference Calendar: Digital Marketing Conferences In February 2016


First up, on the 8th and 9th of February the Digital Summit will be taking place in Phoenix, Arizona. The Digital Summit is will cover a range of topics including content marketing, SEO, social media and web design. The keynote speakers will be Matt Wallaer, a behavioural scientist from Microsoft, and Ann Handley, a best-selling author and content marketer.

Head to Las Vegas on the 9th to the 11th of February for the Social Media Strategies Summit. As the name suggests, this conference is for digital marketers specifically interested in the world of social media, and will feature keynote speakers including Melanie Deziel from Time and Stephanie Ellen Chan from Cisco.

Europe-based marketers who don’t want to make the trip to the US can go to Iceland on 12th February, when the Reykjavik Internet Marketing Conference will be taking place. The conference will feature speakers from Google, Hotels.com and Lloyd Bank and will cover to topics ranging from advertising to analytics to content marketing.

For marketers specifically interested in content marketing and how it can lead to increased demand generation and conversions, why not attend the B2B Content2Conversion Conference on the 15th to the 17th of February. It will be held in Scottsdale, Arizona and will feature speakers from Dell and Forrester Research amongst others.

More interested in mobile? The Mobile World Congress will be taking place on the 22nd to the 25th of February in Barcelona. With over 90,000 visitors, it is a huge event and attendees have the chance to hear from big name speakers including Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg and Jonah Peretti the CEO of Buzzfeed.

If ecommerce is more your thing, the eTail West conference on the 22nd to the 25th of February in Palm Springs, California might appeal. The conference will take a holistic approach to ecommerce, teaching attendees how to use data and personalisation to their advantage, as well as social media, mobile and content marketing.

Social Media Week takes place from the 22nd to the 26th February in 4 locations: Hamburg, Jakarta, Lagos and New York – so covering 4 continents. The conferences cover all things social media and the New York conference has keynote speakers from companies such as The New York Times and CollegeHumor.

The Brand Forum is about branding, marketing and the internet and is happening on the 24th and 25th of February in Sydney, Australia. Big name companies such as Samsung, Walt Disney and LEGO are amongst the speakers.

And last but not least, Pubcon will be holding its South Florida Interactive Marketing Association Summit on the 24th and 25th of February. The Summit will be held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and will focus on search and social media. The keynote speaker will be Scott Stratten, President of Un-Marketing.
