Reuters reports that the Dutch farmer dating site (supported by the FNV Union) has lost their court case in Amsterdam.
The judge ruled that the keywords (in broadmatching) “farm” and “date” were too general. The combination (Farm-date, Farmdate etc.) however can be protected so there is no harm for the Farmers. When Farm Date’s owner issued the complaint, they did so because ads come up for sex and pornographic sites, which they claim is “very damaging for Farmdate’s reputation.” via our knipselkrant
