Juxt Consult – an Indian research agency – has published a set of 5 reports on the Indian sub-continent – including one which shows that internet use in the sub-continent remains below 5% on average – but that’s still 22.7 million users.
The largest slice of internet users is business related covering around 54% of all users – students represent a whopping 20%. Consumers at home almost don’t register with just 2% classed as ‘housewives’.
Internet Use Remains a Rarity in India
