Dutch RSS search engine Feedo.nl launched by Ilse

A new RSS search engine in Dutch has been launched by Ilse.nl the second most important search engine in the Netherlands. Called Feedo.nl, the new search engine has indexed feeds from 2000 Dutch news sites and the most popular blogs. Results are listed in time order – as per the news pages of Yahoo or Google.

Users can create their own personal “Feedo” and the engine then remembers read and unread feeds.

Still in its test phase, Ilse’s information architect, Nils Rooijmans, is quoted in www.planet.nl as saying “We are listening to the views of users and can still incorporate changes to the site.”

Earlier this year, Ilse launched a music search engine for MP3 files and a blog search engine at Blogsearch.ilse.nl.
