The International Search Summit is returning to Barcelona as an in-person event on 18 November 2021!
Kirstie Cartledge, Events Manager at Webcertain, is one of the event’s organisers.
We asked her some quick-fire questions to get to know her better and to whet our appetites for the event!
Describe yourself in three words.
I would have to say “fuelled by caffeine”!
Why do you love your job?
For me, it is all about bringing people together. There is simply no better feeling than running an event that you can tell people have genuinely enjoyed coming to, watching people from all over the world learn and connect and leave with the knowledge they need to drive their international campaigns and global strategies. Plus, I get to work with some really talented people and I still learn something new every day.
Why should people attend the International Search Summit?
The International Search Summit is live and it is the only event that is dedicated entirely to international digital marketing. We have worked really hard to make sure it is an event like no other and the agenda is packed full of industry experts from global brands.
What is your favourite food?
Crisps! I do not think I have ever met a crisp I do not like, and I am pretty sure I would eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner if I was allowed. Although, I have to say cheese is a very close second!
Where in the world would you like to live?
India. I visited and also lived there briefly and it was just the most magical experience. I had the best time and I would move back there in a heartbeat.
What is the best life advice you have ever received?
Always trust your instincts. Learn from your mistakes. Talk less and listen more.
