David Sifry has released the quarterly State of the Blogosphere from the technorati perspective.
With 70 million blogs now online and an average of 6.000 new blogs going live every day, dave Sifry stated:
The state of the Blogosphere is strong, and is maturing as an influential and important part of the web.
For nearly four years, we have been tracking and enabling the growth of this phenomenon and theirs is much in our data to indicate that the medium is “growing up.”
The report provides interesting insight on language share with:
- Japanese the #1 blogging language at 37%
- English second at 33%
- Chinese third at 8%
- Italian fourth at 3%
