This is for those of you fans of international PPC: Ask.com is running a PPC campaign in Brazil trying to drive more users to its search engine.
But when you do a search on Google for restaurante São Paulo (restaurant São Paulo) you get an ad poorly written using the dynamic keyword insertion tool.
Ad copy in Portuguese says: “find restaurant in Sao Paulo on Ask Restaurant in Sao Paulo on Ask now!”
But things get really messy when you do the same search on Ask’s brazilian website. Check the results on the right side of the page.
Weird.

“This is a newly launched site that is still being reviewed and enhanced. There have been a combination of minor technical glitches that caused less than optimal results on the page. We have already been working hard with our partner to correct the page copy and layout. We expect it to be fixed very soon. We appreciate it being brought to our attention.” – Nicholas Graham, Ask spokesperson
