The Conference Calendar: Digital Marketing Conferences In May 2016


First up, Pubcon Austin is taking place in Texas, USA on the 3rd of May. The conference will cover a variety of topics such as social media, content marketing, PPC and SEO, and will feature speakers from Google, AOL and Microsoft.

For marketers specifically interested in experiential marketing, the Experiential Marketing Summit will be taking place in Denver, USA on the 4th to the 6th of May. Attendees will be able to learn about emerging trends, best practice and some hot case studies. The conference will feature keynote speakers from Pepsi and Chobani.

If social media is more your thing, the Social Media Camp is for you. Taking place on the 5th to the 7th of May in Victoria, Canada, the conference focuses on all things social media and will feature keynote speakers from companies such as Mirum and Dotto Tech.

Europe-based social media marketers may prefer to go to Engage Prague instead. As the name suggests, it will be taking place in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, and it will focus solely on social media marketing. Taking place from the 11th to the 13th of May, the conference will feature keynote speakers from L’Oréal, Universal and NASA.

Next up, eTail will be taking place in Toronto, Canada, from the 16th to the 19th of May. Focussing on all things ecommerce, the conference will feature speakers from big name companies such as Visa, Adidas and Ford.

If mastering international SEO is more your thing, head to London, UK on the 17th of May for the International Search Summit. Covering topics such as geo-targeting and social media and looking in depth into markets such as Russia, the conference will feature speakers from search engines such as Bing and Yandex.

For marketers who want to improve their understanding of conversions, the Conversion Conference is taking place in Las Vegas, USA on the 18th and 19th of May. The conference will mix group training sessions, case studies, presentations and networking opportunities, as well as sessions by keynote speakers from companies such as SiteTuners and HFI Laboratories.

Also taking place on the 18th and 19th of May is the Search Marketing Expo. SMX London will cover a broad range of search marketing topics, including PPC, technical SEO, links, mobile and apps, content marketing, data, and international and multilingual campaigns.

Staying in London, Shift will be taking place in the UK capital on the 24th and 25th of May. Shift is a new event focusing on digital disruption, its effects and how marketers should adapt in an ever changing digital world. The event will feature keynote speakers from companies such as Airbnb, FoodTube and Vodafone.

And finally, the Search Marketing Summit will take place in Sydney, Australia from the 30th of May to the 3rd of June. The summit will feature sessions at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels, and will cover topics such as SEO, email marketing and mobile marketing.
