Google and Microsoft reach a settlement in China's Lee Kai Fu case

Google and Microsoft reached an agreement ending the lawsuit Microsoft had filed against Google in the matter of Dr. Lee Kai Fu. Microsoft filed the lawsuit in September in order to enforce Lee’s one year non compete agreement. Google hired Dr. Lee to manage its newly opened research and development center in China. Dr. Lee had previously stated “Microsoft doesn’t get it in China.” The settlement was for an undisclosed amount but you can bet Microsoft made Google pay and most likely managed to get some of the restrictions included that were in the earlier court ruling.
