Shopping engine, Smarter.com has launched in China and Japan according to Gary Price over at Search Engine Watch.
Obviously the growth of consumers in China has made this a profitable target.
The web design of the Chinese site is closer to the US design, while the Japanese one has more graphics as most Japanese sites do – though this is tame by most Japanese site standards.
