According to Elvar Arason researcher and a senior consultat at ABSmedia Iceland nearly all Icelanders aged 20 to 29 are registered on Facebook. This social media website is a huge success in the country to say the least.
Nearly half of the nation is registered or just under 120.000 people and nearly everybody in the age group 20 to 29 has a profile.
Woman are dominant with around 60% of the registrations or just over 69.000.
