The Conference Calendar: Digital marketing conferences in April 2016


First up, there are three events taking place in San Francisco on 3 to 6 April. The eMetrics Summit is for digital marketers who love all things data and analytics, so if number-crunching and metrics are your thing, this one will be right up your street. Featuring keynote speakers from Microsoft, Adobe and Moz, the conference also offers ample opportunity for attendees to network with one another. Predictive Analytics World For Workforce and Predictive Analytics For Business also focus on analytics and are also taking place at the same time, with the Business conference running for one extra day.

If your business is in the travel industry, then you may want to jet off to Cape Town, South Africa for 6 to 8 April, when the World Travel Market conference will be taking place. The conference will give invaluable advice to travel companies who want to make the most of internet marketing. If you can’t make it to Cape Town on that date, don’t panic, because the Travel Distribution Summit Europe conference will be taking place in London on 19 to 20 April.

On 11 to 13 April, ClickZ Live is taking place in New York. It covers all aspects of digital marketing, including SEO, PPC, social media, content marketing, email marketing and data analytics. Keynote speakers from big name companies such as Google and Goldman Sachs will be in attendance. ClickZ Live Jakarta will also be taking place in the Indonesian capital on 27 and 28 April.

For marketers specifically interested in expanding an ecommerce business internationally, Growing Global will be taking place in Ohio, US on 13 and 14 April. The conference will cover localisation, the global payments landscape, special advice for entering China and India, and tips for small businesses wanting to engage in cross-border ecommerce.

If mobile marketing is more your thing, the Mobile Innovation Summit is for you. Taking place on 14 and 15 April in London, the conference focuses on all things mobile and will feature keynote speakers from companies such as BT, Telefonica and Deliveroo.

Also taking place on 14 and 15 April is the Canadian Internet Marketing Conference. Taking place in Squamish, British Columbia, the conference will cover a broad range of topics, including data analytics, advertising, international marketing, social media, PR and content marketing. Keynote speakers from Google, eBay and Walmart will be in attendance.

Next up, on 17 to 19 April, Social Media Marketing World will be taking place in San Diego, US. As the name suggests, the conference will cover all things social media, including social strategy and tactics, measuring social campaigns, content marketing, and social customer service.

On 22 April, BrightonSEO will be taking place in Brighton, UK. Although tickets for this SEO event are sold out, you will still be able to watch what’s going on as some of the sessions will be live streamed.

Back over in the States, on 25 and 27 April Hero Conference will be taking place in Philadelphia. The conference will focus solely on PPC and will feature keynote speakers from aimClear, Adobe and Bing Ads.

And finally, the Social Media Strategies Summit will be taking place in Chicago, US on 26 to 28 April. The conference is specifically for social media marketers and will feature 40 speakers, ten case studies and seven networking dinners.
