Yahoo Japan Is Going Strong With Higher Profit

Yahoo Japan announced that their year on year net profit rose 7.69% in last quarter (April-June) in advertising revenue.
When Yahoo Japan decided to adopt Google’s technology in its web searches in last December, many expressed their concern that it could have negative impact on Yahoo Japan’s business in 2011. However, they’ve been recording a continued increase in revenue.
For the past quarter, Yahoo Japan’s operating profit also increased 3.3% to ¥38.83 billion from ¥37.61 billion, while revenue rose 1.9% to ¥71.88 billion from ¥70.51 billion. They expect its net profit to be in a ¥46.01 billion to ¥47.31 billion range for the first half ending Sept. 30.
